Wadjet's burrow was a cave in Faiyum, Egypt, beneath the ruins of a temple, established by the cult of the snake goddess Wadjet.
Sometime around 47 BCE, the cultists began to bred snakes and set up a shrine in Wadjet's burrow. With the snakes, the cultists sought to scare and kill the Greeks of Soknopaiou Nesos, feeding the rumours of Wadjet's "curse". In 47 BCE, the Medjay, Bayek of Siwa, investigated the deaths and chaos, and found the burrow, killing all the snakes inside. He then proceeded to seek out the leader of the cultists, and end the 'curse'.
