The Viper Bow

The Viper Bow was a bow inspired by and dedicated to snakes in ancient Greece. Adorned with stylized etchings of the reptiles, the bow was kept by the Chiot Daughters of Artemis within the Cave of Arktoi during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the cave at the behest of Bryce, and found the bow alongside a curious disk.[1]
