The Vineyard of Glory was a vineyard located on a foothill on the Greek island of Thasos.
In classical antiquity, the vineyard was of those that produced wine that considered one of the best in the ancient world and were exported throughout the Mediterranean basin, including Magna Grecia, Egypt and as far aways as the Black Sea.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the vineyard was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
