Valley Forge

Valley Forge was a military camp site in the region of the Frontier for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. It got its name from the iron forge on Valley Creek, the area was close enough to the British to keep their raiding and foraging praties out of the interior of Pennsylvania, yet far enough away to halt the threat of British surprise attacks.
