Sir Artemis Murray was an English aristocrat.

Biography

In 1696, during a dinner party at Lord Benedict Crystal's estate, Murray met Isaac Newton, who he had sent many letters to before, though had received no answer. Murray then began discussing a theory he had, that the sun was an alien creature instead of a star, until a theft gave Newton the opportunity to escape him.[1]
