The Temple of Hatshepsut was a an ancient funerary shrine commisoned for the pharaoh Hatshepsut, located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt west of Thebes.

In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa travelled to the temple, following the trails of a relic auctioned on an island near Thebes. There, he found Irsu, a heavily wounded merchant who was captured by Egyptian soldiers. The merchant directed Bayek west to Set-Ma'at, where his nephew took the relic to.[1]
