Tea Act

The Tea Act was an Act of the Parliment of Great Britain in 1773, which was issued to the thirteen colonies of British America in order to pay off war debts for the French and Indian War. However, the act was heavily unpopular amongst American colonists, and ultimately resulted in the Boston Tea Party.
