Sword of Avaris
The Sword of Avaris was a sword obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.
The sword was originally in possession of a blacksmith who operated in a mine southwest of Kydonia on the Greek island of Krete. After Kassandra helped to bring him some obsidian, the blacksmith gave the sword to her as a reward.[1]
