Storm Fortress

The Storm Fortress was one of seven legendary ships encountered and sunk by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War.

In battle, the Storm Fortress used mortars to keep her targets at bay, as well as unleashing devastating broadsides. When the she had received sufficient damage, the Storm Fortress was reinforced by two other Men O' War. Despite all of these advantages, she was eventually sunk by the Morrigan.

Trivia

• Defeating the Storm Fortress, the Argonaut and the Sceptre awarded Shay the Storm Fortress' figurehead of a kraken.
• Strangely, the Storm Fortress is depicted in game with the Black Skull sails instead of the white kraken sails that the player is rewarded with upon defeating the vessel. Also the Black Skull sails can be obtained through Uplay, and are said to belong to Edward Kenway's ship, the Jackdaw.
