The Storm Fortress was one of seven legendary ships encountered and sunk by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War. In battle, she used mortars to keep her targets at bay, which dealt massive damage, as well as unleashing devastating broadsides. When the Storm Fortress had been dealt enough blows, and was nearly sunk, she was reinforced by two Men O' War. Despite all of these advantages, the Storm Fortress was sunk by the Morrigan.

Trivia

Defeating the Storm Fortress, the Argonaut and the Sceptre awarded Shay the Storm Fortress' figurehead of a kraken.
