The Statue of Zeus within the Temple of Zeus in the Sanctuary of Olympia in Elis, Greece, was a large statue of the god Zeus made by the sculptor Phidias around 435 BCE.

Featuring the god seated on a richly decorated throne, the statue is shown holding the goddess Nike on his right hand, and a staff topped with an eagle in his left hand. It was grand enough to be considered one of the Wonders of the World.

During the 428 BCE Olympic Games the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the temple and the statue with her friend Barnabas.
