The Silver Mines was a cave in the Silver Foothills on the island Thasos, Greece. Used as a source to delve silver, it was protected by a small military force. In the back of the mines, this cave system was connected to the Silver Foothill Trail.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]
