SAVAK ( Persian: سازمان اطلاعات و امنیت کشور , National Intelligence and Security Organization ) was the Secret Police and Intelligence service which founded by Iran's king , Mohammad Reza shah Pahlavi in 1957 ( Shamsi : 1335 ) with help of CIA and Mossad . It was operated from 1957 and disbanded in 1979 during the Islamic Revolution of Iran . It had nearly 60,000 agents at all . SAVAK has been described as Iran's "most hated and feared institution" prior because of its practice of torturing and executing opponents of the Pahlavi regime.

In Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, it was Reveled that it was orgenized by Templars to " terrorize citizens and protect capitalist oil interests " in Iran.
