The Qattara Depression (Arabic: منخفض القطارة‎‎ Munḫafaḍ al-Qaṭṭārah) is a geographical depression in the north-west region of Egypt.

In 2017, Layla Hassan journeyed to the region on a mission to find an important ancient artifacts but instead found the preserved mummies of the Hidden Ones Bayek and his spouse Aya in the Hotep Cavern.

Trivia

• Due to Bayek and Aya's mummies being found here it is reasonable to assume that this was their final resting place.
