The Promontory of Skylla was the eastern region of Argolis, Greece.

Even though in the mythical times the area was populated, even housing the palace of King Aigisthos, by the 5th century BCE the region was largely uninhabited, save for a couple of temporary camps, like the Saron Military Camp. This was likely due to the effect of the evacuation decree given by Themistokles, which was memorized in a stele within the promontory.

During the Peloponnesian War the region was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
