Antiope
Antiope was an Amazon in Greek mythology. As the daughter of the Greek god of war Ares, she was the sister of Hippolyta.
During the Amazonian invasion of Attika, Antiope was mortally wounded by the hero and Athenian king Theseus. Antiope died from her wounds and was allegedly buried in a tomb in the southwestern part of Athens, near the Temple of Zeus.[1]
