Overgrown Ruins

The Overgrown Ruins was a fort on the island of Korfu, Greece, northwest of the Kataskopou Vineyard. During the Peloponnesian War, the ruins of the fort served as the base of operations for the bandit leader known as the Mad Captain.

History

After learning that Herodotos had been held there by the Mad Captain's bandits, the misthios Kassandra traveled to the ruins from the Quarry of Korkyra. After eliminating the bandits and rescuing Herodotos, Kassandra went further into the ruins to confront the Mad Captain, now in possession of the island's treasure, an Apple of Eden left behind by the Isu.[1]

Despite being enhanced and possessed with the artifact's power, Kassandra was able to defeat the Mad Captain and attempted to contain the Apple's massive energy with her spear. The resulting surge of power caused the Apple to fly off and depleted Kassandra's spear.[1]
