Oda Nobunaga

Oda Nobunaga (23 June 1534 – 21 June 1582) was a powerful daimyō in Japan during the late 16th century who initiated the unification of Japan near the end of the Sengoku period. He was killed by Hattori Hanzō during an attack of the Oda vassal Akechi Mitsuhide at Honnō-ji in 1582.
