The Northern Oasis was an oasis located in the 'Aqarquf Dunes east of Anbar and north of Baghdad. It was situated atop an Isu chamber which housed a number of Isu weaponry and armor.
History
In the 860s, the Order of the Ancients became aware of the vault's existence beneath the oasis and believed the shards the Tha'abeen members possessed were connected to it. They assigned Al-Ghul to set up an exacavation site at the Oasis to find a way into the chamber. When the workers at the oasis failed to make much progress, Al-Ghul wrote a letter and asked for more workers to be reassigned to the excavation site further south.[1]
Around the same time, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq travelled to the oasis, following clues given to him by Nehal, who claimed to have a symbol at the oasis similar to the ones they had saw in the Winter Palace in Anbar. After diving down to the bottom of the oasis, he was able to swim his way through and gain acess to the chamber below.[2]
