Animus Core

The Animus Core was a simulated location created by Abstergo Industries, as part of their Abstergo Entertainment branch. In this regard, it was available to members of the public who purchased the Animus games console.

The area's environment was stylized as pure, raw, ever-changing Animus software that struggles to load New York, with the exception of the center of City Hall being complete. Interestingly, the purely simulated portions of the Animus Core did not experience weather conditions.
