The Montebank was an Animi Avatar used by Abstergo Industries to train the recruits in their Animi Training Program.


Trivia

  • The term "mountebank" is an old word that is derived from the Italian words "montambanco" or "montimbanco". All three words refer to the fraudulent practice of selling dubious medicines on a stage, making the term synonymous with quack doctors and charlatans.
