Maqwat was a member of the Hidden Ones, he operated in the Sinai.

Maqwat informs Bayek that Ampelius oversees all commerce on the Sinai Peninsula. Maqwat, Tahira and Bayek were ambushed and captured at the hidden ones bureau. Maqwat, Tahira are saved by Bayek and Amunet but Tahira dies in Bayek's arms Mawat is furious but he is told to bury Tahira.
