Lover's Lake

Lover's Lake was a lake situated in Mount Kasagata in Harima, Japan.

History

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe traveled to the lake and met with Koshiro, whom she gave his old woodworking box. Together, they walked around the lake and talked about his woodworking before heading to a place to sit. Although she offered him a place to live, he stated that he must go on his own. Realizing he was right, they spent the next moment looking out onto the lake. Thanking Naoe for his new purpose, they offered each other their farewells before Naoe left.[1]
