Kadar A-Sayf (??? - 1191) was a novice Assassin, and the younger brother of Malik. From Kadar's words in Solomon's Temple, it is evident that he admired Altaïr's skill and rank.

Kadar does not do much in the beginning except follow you into short passage you must enter in Solomon's Temple. He then listens to Malik and Altaïr argue. When Altaïr reveals that he is there, Kadar and Malik come to join the fight, but after Altaïr is thrown out of the room and forced to leave, it is unknown how long Kadar lasted in the fight before he was killed. When Altaïr returns to Al Mualim, Malik reveals that Kadar died in Solomon's Temple. Malik, already embittered toward Altaïr for his breaking of the tenets, was infuriated by his brother's death. He believed that without Altaïr's arrogant actions, Kadar would have lived, and he (Malik) would not have lost his arm.
