Jerusalem was a city located between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea, often visited by Assassins and Templars throughout history.[1]
History
High Middle Ages
Jerusalem was the largest city in the Holy Land during the 12th century, housing exquisite mosques and cathedrals, denoting the contrast of cultures. Two major Templar structures were found here: the Templar Tower, and Solomon's Temple, a structure under the city where the Apple had been discovered inside the Ark of the Covenant.[1]
During this time, the city had been broken up into three districts, the Poor, Middle, and Rich. The city's Assassins' Bureau was situated within the Rich District.[1]
Renaissance
Around 1512, Ezio Auditore, sent Turkish Assassins from Constantinople, to aid the Assassins in Jerusalem.
