Ichinomiya was a region in central Iga Province, Japan, during the Sengoku period, comprising the Aekuni Shrine Town and its surroundings.[1] The region's name came from the fact that the Aekuni Shrine served as Iga's highest-ranking shrine, or ichinomiya.[2]
