The Hyperion is a trireme captained by The Hydra, a member of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos.

During the Peloponnesian War the Hyperion crossed paths with the Adrestia, a ship commandeered by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas. In the following conflict The Hydra was slain.

Trivia

• The name of the ship references a Titan in Greek mythology, Hyperion. He was the brother/consort of Theia.
• The name is derived from the Greek word ῠ̔πέρ (hupér), which means 'above, over', with the addition of the suffix -ῑ́ων (-ī́ōn), giving the name the translation 'high one'.
