Hunnish Bow

The Hunnish Bow was a hunter bow used in Norway during the 9th century.
The Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan had one of these in her possession, using it in a botched revenge attempt on Kjotve the Cruel's life in the Rygjafylke settlement of Heillboer,[1] and throughout her journeys across Norway.[2]
Eivor held onto it when she joined members of the Raven Clan in leaving for better prospects in England.[3] There, she found sufficient funds and resources to upgrade the bow to different tiers, increasing its attack and lethality against opponents while also displaying finer craftsmanship.[2]
