Governor (Animi Avatar)
The Governor (real name: Bernardo de Gálvez) was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a rapier, hand-crafted with the best materials in Spain.
Unique Moves
Low Profile, Front
The Governor walks up to his target, pulls out his sword, and strikes them in the forehead with its hilt. He then takes advantage of their defenselessness by piercing his victim's stomach with his rapier and withdrawing it quickly, watching them crumple to the floor, dead.
Low Profile, Back
The Governor approaches his target from behind with his rapier drawn, before swiftly slashing it diagonally across their back. As they react, he spins the blade skillfully in his hand and cleanly stabs them up through the back, impaling his victim's heart from behind and causing them to collapse to the floor, where they die of blood loss as he puts away his sword.
High Profile, Front
The Governor runs up to his target and pulls out his rapier, just as he elbows them in the face. He then delivers a forceful slash across their neck, before replacing his sword back by his side quickly, just in time to see his victim's dead body spin to the floor.
High Profile, Back
The Governor runs up to his target and thrusts his rapier into their back, before slowly and painfully forcing the blade through his victim until it fully penetrates them, the hilt adjacent to their body. As they stare down at the blade, the Governor roughly pulls it free, with his target collapsing dead to the ground shortly afterwards.
Bench Kill
The Governor grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Governor forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his target's neck on the bench behind them.
Aerial Kill
The Governor leaps onto his target from above, unsheathing his sword in mid-air. When he lands, he forces them onto their back and impales them in their heart with his rapier, before he stands and leaves his victim lying dead on the floor.

Trivia
- The Governor shares the same High Profile, Back animation as the Deacon, and High Profile, Front animation as the Captain.
