Francesco Salviati Riario (1443 - 1479) was the Archbishop of Pisa at the time of his membership in the Templar Order, 1476. Francesco was also one of the Pazzi conspirators.
Biography
Francesco was convinced that he would be the next Archbishop of Florence, and was enraged when Lorenzo de' Medici stood in his way. However, the Templars rose to support his cause, viewing him as a useful ally.
Francesco marched his troops into the city in order to support the hostile take over, but after the failure of the conspiracy, he shed his fancy garments, and traded them for the simple clothes of a farmer. The farmer was hung, and Francesco fled to his villa in Tuscany.
Despite his numerous guards, the villa was breached by Ezio Auditore, and the mercenaries of Mario Auditore. Francesco was assassinated by Ezio soon afterwards.

Trivia
- In real life, Archbishop Salviati was the main instigator of the conspiracy, not the Pazzi family. He was supposed to kill Gonfaloniere Petrucci and take hold of the Palazzo della Signoria. However, he was arrested by Petrucci, and hanged by a mob from the window of the Sala dei Duecento, next to Francesco de' Pazzi.
