Finnegan (died 1696) was the personal butler of Isaac Newton during his time as warden of the Royal Mint in London, England.
During the Great Recoinage of 1696, Finnegan was revealed to be working for the counterfeiter William Chaloner as a double-agent, having being paid by him to frame Isaac for counterfeiting. After confessing his actions to Omar Khaled and Newton in the Tower of London, Finnegan was assassinated by Rose Galloway, Omar's former trainee.
