The Death Gorge is a narrow valley leading from Warrior's Rest to the ruined temple in Dikte Plateau in Pephka, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]

Trivia

  • The site serves as a viewpoint in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
  • The gorge is also known as Zakros Gorge and remains a popular hiking route. It is also known as the 'Gorge of the Dead' due to the caves in the area used for burial by the ancient Minoans.
