Dakar is the capital and largest city of Senegal.

History

In the early 18th century, an old French diplomat in Dakar commissioned sailors to bring him tobacco and his request was fulfilled by Welsh pirate Edward Kenway, who sent 30 crates of tobacco to Dakar's French village.[1]
