Revision as of 20:01, 11 April 2021 by imported>Kennyannydenny (A bit of a rewrite and adding some info on the cougars in Valhalla (not in the wild, only in cages at certain places, like a bandit camp in Lunden (near an underground entrance) and in the longhouse of Tonnastadir). Those are the only two locaions I can recall from memory for now)

A cougar

Cougars (Puma concolor) are large, predatory cats found in North and South America.

History

During the 9th century some bandit groups in England kept cougars locked up in cages. Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir encountered cougars during her travels in London and Tonnastadir.[1]

In the 18th century, when Kanien'kehá:ka Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton learned a cougar was attacking children performing rite-of-passage ceremonies in the valley outside his village, he successfully hunted and killed the cougar.

A white cougar began prowling the Davenport Homestead. Connor and Myriam tracked the animal, causing it to flee into Norris' mine. Connor entered it to draw out the animal, and Myriam shot and killed it before it could pounce and harm him.
