We do this together or not at all. It has been proposed that this page be merged with Sanctuary of Kosmos, under the article: Cave of Gaia. Discussion to this effect can be held on the former article's talk page. |

The Cave of Gaia was a cave located by the Temple of Apollo within the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.
History
Dedicated to the Greek goddess Gaia, the original possessor of the oracle of the site,[1], Herodotos mentioned that the Temple of Apollo was by the cave.[2]
According to the acting Pythia in 431 BCE, the Cult of Kosmos met in an ancient chamber, below the Temple of Apollo.[2]
Behind the scenes
Though the cave is specifically mentioned in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, its location is unverifiable. That said, historically a sanctuary of Gaia was located within the Sanctuary of Delphi, preceding its association with the god Apollo.[3]
