I still feel that it would be better if Ubisoft just focused all their teams and time into making one great AC every couple of years, rather than splitting them up to work on 2-3 games at the same time. It could really screw each game's innovation up if multiple ACs are being developed at the same time, all with similar features and one being released a year after the first with little time to adapt to it's criticisms.

But that aside, I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I didn't have at least some optimism for AC4. For one, I like the setting and the cities within it (Havanna really gives me a Florence vibe). Second, I have hopes for Edward as a character. At first, I feared that they would just copy & paste Ezio's persona into Edward because of how popular he is, but I'm glad to see that they are differentiating the two a little. Where Ezio was a wealthly noble seeking to avenge his parents' death, Edward is simply a man looking for, "the good life". I know that's over-simplifying both but you get the point.
