Clearly you're letting the media conform to your personal beliefs. Spartans were honorable warriors much like the Samurai, they did not needlessly kill, they killed because they had to, because of invasion. 300 Spartans vs 1000 Persians, look up the real story, it's not romanticized like the movie makes it out to be.
