If Ubisoft can have an entire game with people in silly Italian accents, they should have one with silly French accents. It's not like it's new; Liberation did it. Besides, the switch to English accents causes some meaning to be lost. For example, Napoleon has a stuffy upperclass accent, which is nowhere near an equivalent of Napoleon's actual French, which sounded painfully Italian as he was from Corsica.
