He doesn't have to be an Assassin but they could use. As long as it works well with the Narrative of the game. I mean don't just add him in there just to show you have Karl Marx in the game use him like how Machiavelli was used in ACB.

The Ironies of the Creed are only for members of the Creed. So they only apply for people within the Brotherhood.
