Yoshino

Yoshino is a district in the Nara Prefecture, Japan.[1] During the Sengoku period, it was a sub-region of Yamato, situated south of the Asuka Rocks Basin, the Hidden River, and Takatori.[2]

In 1582, the sub-region was visited by the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke, who established a kakurega near its town of the same namesake.[2]
