The Dog-Ear was a tantō that Fujibayashi Naoe obtained in Japan during the Sengoku period. While tracking down the members of a child-abduction ring in Osaka, Naoe encountered and killed Richo, who had kidnapped a local saleswoman's daughter, and retrieved the brown tantō from her personal effects.
