Bustee Ram
Bustee Ram was the treasure keeper of Ranjit Singh at the latter's summer palace in 19th-century Amritsar, India.
Biography[edit | edit source]
During a feast at the summer palace in June 1839, the Maharaja handed Bustee a diamond, a replica of the infamous Koh-i-Noor, and told him to take it to his treasure chamber under the palace. Unbeknownst to Bustee, Raza Soora, a servant boy of the Indian Assassin Arbaaz Mir, followed him to the chamber and discovered the Koh-i-Noor's resting place.[1][2][3]
