Quintus Marcius Rex (fl. 144–140 BCE) was a Roman politician, from a family who claimed descent from the Roman King Ancus Marcius.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 144 BCE, he was appointed praetor peregrinus.[1] Between 144–140 BCE, he under-saw construction of a new aqueduct, later named after him.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, in the Database entry for the Acqua Marcia, his first name is misspelled as "Qunitus".[2]
