Mountebank

The Mountebank (real name: Victor Wolcott) was an Animi Avatar used by Abstergo Industries to train the recruits in the third stage of their Animi Training Program.

This learned man of science thrives on the acquisition of knowledge. He is especially fascinated by biology, medicine and the inner workings of the human body; so much so it is rumored he has devised an elixir potent enough to keep his patients alive well beyond the traditional method’s capabilities.

Trivia

• The term "mountebank" was an old word that was derived from the Italian words "montambanco" or "montimbanco". All three words referred to the fraudulent practice of selling dubious medicines on a stage, making the term synonymous with quack doctors and charlatans.
