Engineer
The Engineer (real name: Gaspar de la Croix) is a multiplayer character in the upcoming game, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. It is stated by Ubisoft that he might make an appearance in the single-player mode in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood as well as the other multiplayer characters.
Trivia
- His weapon used for assassinating is a compass as seen here at 0:17. This videoshows how he kills his target in recent BETA gameplay.
- "Gaspar de la Croix is a master weapons engineer as well as an expert marksman."
- "De la Croix" is French for "of the cross" this is almost certainly a reference to his Templar origins.
- Before the launch of the Brotherhood Beta, he was referred to by a different name ("the Merchant"), as was the Prowler (previously "the Hunter"), and Noble (previously "the Banker").
- The Engineer bears a slight resemblance to character, also named the Engineer, from the game Team Fortress 2
