Cappadocia is the region where an ancient underground city in central Turkey not only controlled, but constructed by, the Knights Templar resides.

During the 16^th century, the Templars, after being driven from Rome, set up their headquarters in the underground city in Cappadocia. Ezio Auditore scaled all of the floors of the city at least once.
