From what I read I think it may be something like ciri in the witcher 3, or catwoman in arkham city. Anyway, it is a good new element to the game, giving us two protagonists, but also opening the possibilities of improving the modern day segments, since now we have the genetic memories of 2 people in the game. I just hope they introduce the female protagonist with the appropriate elements, and dont make her just a ezio/arno/altair in skirts.
