This is where the magic of guessing shows up :D

Ok, so starting from 1756, let's assume every ancestor until Desmond lived a minimum of 50 years. This would put Connor's death at 1806. Assuming he's had a kid by then and assuming that kid also lives 50 years, we should end up at around 1856. Continuing on;

1856 - 1906 - 1948 (William is born) - 1987 (Congladurations! Desmond the moon bear has hatched from the egg you've been carrying!)

Through this magical method of guessing, I have deduced that Connor may be Dez's Great-Great-Great-Grandfather.

Hooray for nonsensical guesses :P
