I'm assuming the success of Shao Jun's game will have an impact on whether or not more side-scroller AC's are made in the future.

And I'm willing to give it a chance, even if it is a radical departure from the standard ac gameplay, as long as Ubisoft doesn't use this line of games as a kind of thrashbin for the more diverse protagonists. That's my main worry atm.

Also, I doubt these sidescroller games will be as fleshed out character and plotwise. I hope they have database entries, at least :s
