The Auld Shillelagh was a pub located in Alveston, outside of Bristol, England, and on the road to Hatherton. It was owned by a man called Jack and was commonly frequented by Edward Kenway during his trips into the town in his youth.[1]
On one such occasion in 1711, Edward noticed three of his rivals—Tom Cobleigh, his son Seth, and a man named Julian—encouraging a young woman to drink to intoxication, with less than honorable intentions.
